In the wake of the three earthquakes that have hit the Indonesian island of Sumatra, U.S. televangelist Pat Robertson declared on his 700 Club TV program that “only Muslims get earthquakes.” He continued by saying:
No good Christians have ever been caught in earthquakes. Those dirty fag bastards in San Francisco deserved every bit of God’s wrath in 1989, and those goddamn Japs have slant eyes anyway. So, they couldn’t even see an earthquake if it hit them. As for the tsunami of 2004, those damn Hindu and Buddhist bastards don’t believe in the fundamental teachings of Jesus anyway, and besides Thailand has too many damn Jewish tourists in the first place.
