The All American Army Brand First Infantry Division clothing line

U.S. American retail giant Sears has entered into a first-ever deal with the United States Military to market a new line of officially sanctioned, military-styled clothing to men, women and boys, which will be called the “All American Army Brand First Infantry Division” collection. The collection will feature reinterpretations of U.S. Army regulation uniforms and military-issued gear like T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, denim and other outerwear. The partnership is part of a marketing strategy to raise the public profile of the U.S. military in an effort to indoctrineate the public and to recruit more stupid teenagers to kill innocent civilians throughout the developing world.

What are you waiting for? Go out and buy a self esteem zip military vest for a loved one today!

Although I am not in support of our government’s current “affairs” in other countries I do not consider our soldiers stupid. As a fellow American I think that you should rethink your statement that so harshly dismisses a soldiers strength, courage, and honor. It is perfectly possible that you are a mere coward who will do nothing in a time of war, aside from mock the very men and women who protect your right to post such erroneous information on your website, but there are some of us who still have a sense of Americanism and courage and although I may be just another “stupid teenager”, if it comes to a point where my country is in a vital and consequential war I will not hesitate to put my career on hold to fight for the very rights our forefathers fought for centuries ago.

    Eric,

Go ahead and fight for a government that hates the American public, be my guest.

However, I think you would find that Thomas Jefferson would be against our current government.

I suppose you may be right about Jefferson. Our country has change a lot since his time, but in all honesty it will not change for the better if we sit back and let other countries take us over, although with our current economic issues that is precisely what is happening.(borrowing from countries like China)

Although our government may not currently care about its people and may not have for some time I still feel that our soldiers are brave young men and women and deserve more respect than you may have given them. Our government its flawed not our people. We still have many intelligent and honest people in our country and it is not fair to ridicule the people who are actually fighting for you even if it may not be a cause you support.

Yeah. All I can do is add my two cents on your generalizations about the Army and its personnel. I am an Iraq war vet and don’t fit your “stupid teenager” profile. I joined willingly knowing full well what I was getting into. “Killing innocent civilians” sounds so dated (60’s counterculture hippie nonsense). Most human beings, including most soldiers, regret the loss of any innocent lives in combat. In fact, it’s even hard to pull the trigger when the guy at the other end is shooting at you. There is plenty of research on this. Look into it. I am not sure why you think this clothing line is meant as some sort of recruitment tool (I tend to think it’s more focused on generating revenue), but it certainly didn’t call for a cheap crack at the troops. I bought the WWI officer jacket and love it. It’s quite practical and warm and, yes, I am in awe of the men that wore the real deal and bled to death in the fields of Europe. It’s hard to top that level of courage in the civilian world. It’s those “stupid teenagers” you talk about that are their heirs of those great men. I support (and am willing to die for) your right to express yourself as you see fit, but your cheap shot at the kids in our Armed Forces wasn’t necessary to get your point across.

Are you people just stupid, or what? It’s about clothing… period. The United States Army has a long history, since 1775 to celebrate. We are not producing clothing to celebrate the deaths of any Americans from ANY time period. We are making clothing to celebrate the bravery of all those that paid the ultimate price so that you could have the right to write stupid $hit, like you have above. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of ignorance this country seems to foster…

Thanks for calling me stupid Rob, I guess people don’t see the conditioning of the U.S. public to accept a military presence in the “homeland.” I guess I must me stupid to see this. I guess I should just watch football and drink my beer like a good American!
